Yerevan school  № 121, situated in a cozy nook, Tichina street 2nd lane, was founded in 1961 as a secondary  school with Armenian education. The founding director of the school was GrigorSahakyan.

From 1979 – 1990 is was a school with Russian education, and in 1990 it became a school with Armenian education. Since 1994 it has borne  the name of diaspora Armenian writer, teacher and publicist Edward Boyajyan, whose slogan was “ Soil and people, soil and spirit, soil and everything…”

Since the day of its foundation the school has been known for its experienced teachers and school leavers, who later became acknowledged experts in different spheres of science and economy.
